I'M YOUR COACH
Without the training strategies and techniques I'm about to share with you, I personally would not have a fraction of the health and physical freedom that I enjoy today.
After a car accident, I struggled for years to regain my health and fitness, even though I had been in top shape as an Olympian a decade before. (Yes, that's me with the pigtails, intent on leading my crew into battle.) Then, I accidently discovered the key to lifetime fitness when I tried Nordic Walking because of a little fitness challenge event.
When I looked at the online videos to teach myself, I could see immediately that most videos show a "forward reaching arm swing" poling technique (hiking style) which I knew instantly would not strengthen all my weak injured back muscles that needed to be strong to support my spine/posture and alleviate my neck and shoulder pain.
So I used my INSIDERS' KNOWLEDGE compiled from my university education and more specifically, from my Olympic training, and designed the movement using poles that would heal me the fastest.
I was right! My posture was noticably improved in 8 weeks and I had to get smaller-sized pants too. Amazing right? What I had done, because of my Insiders' knowledge, was to re-created the CLASSIC STYLE NORDIC POLE WALKING (practised for decades by Scandinavian cross-country skiers.)
My friends soon wanted me to teach them what I was doing because they wanted results too! So I started distilling all my knowledge into the INSIDERS' GUIDE TO LIFETIME FITNESS training.
What I didn't expect from my post-accident healing was my greater empathy and patience. The accident crushed me to my knees and this gave me a whole new perspective. Now it's my INSIDERS' SECRETS FOR LIFETIME FITNESS and YOU are the beneficiary!
